Atlas Portland Cement
Every home builder is interested in insuring for his house the two qualities on which Atlas national advertising is laying such stress. With all the high tensile strength, permanence, and economy of gray Atlas Portland Cement, Atlas White has an additional and striking advantage: it is pure white in color. Thus it offers a vastly enlarged range of artistic possibilities and unrivalled opportunity for a full use of color variety. Architects have been enabled to specify even decorative sculpture of concrete. Atlas White has been of tremendous importance in opening new vistas of beauty never before realized in cement construction.
*Superior for Stucco
The great charm of stucco lies not only in its interesting surface texture but also in the purity and cleanness of its delicate shades and tints.
Atlas White Portland Cement is admirably adapted to color varieties, since it offers a perfectly neutral white base for all colors. Thus it permits effects not possible when gray cement is used.
“Houses of Stucco” is a copiously illustrated book for the home builder. It gives comparative costs, illustrates a variety of textures to suit varying types of architecture, has photographs of many model dwellings together with miniature floor plans, and even discusses the remodelling in stucco of old. houses. *For Interior Plastering
The recent revival of interest in Spanish and Moorish decora-4- tion has given added impetus to the vogue for texture treatment of the interior finishes. Because of the greater strength it gives, Atlas White is widely preferred. Since the beauty of most of the textures depends on the definition and sharpness of the various projections, it is highly important that they be strong. Otherwise they are continually chipped off, and their true beauty departs.
Mortar of Atlas White Portland Cement supplies the necessary strength. In addition it is not affected by moisture or water; and may be thoroughly scrubbed with soap and water.

*Lumnite
Frequently the need arises for extraordinary speed in construction and early use of the completed work. For such demands the Atlas Portland Cement Company offers Atlas Lumnite Cement, through an arrangement with its affiliated company, The Atlas Lumnite Cement Company.
Lumnite is not a portland cement. In 2.4 hours it produces concrete which exceeds the strength of portland cement concrete at 2_8 days.
