Laboratory tests prove conclusively that Ricketson Mortar Colors produce a stronger mortar or concrete aggregate. Owing to their high percentage of ferric oxide these mortar colors go farther than any other, making them the cheap- est colors to use as well as the best.

For forty years Ricketson’s non-fading, pure mineral colors have been used for coloring mortar, stuccos, cement, brick and tile and we have yet to hear of a simple job that did not prove entirely satisfactory to architect, con- tractor and owner.

This Company has been making non-fading mortar colors since 1885. The Lake Superior hermatite ores from which Ricketson Brand Mortar Colors are made are conceded to be the purest and strongest to be found in nature’s laboratory. These colors are not produced by artificial means but are just as they occur in nature, hence they are as everlasting as the ores from which they are made. All unstable oxides are removed in the process of manufacture leaving only such colors as will permanently withstand the effects of time and the elements.
